C+CL Community & Peer Connection
Use peer connection to exchange practical experience while protecting privacy and clinical boundaries. You can participate at your own pace without sharing more than you want.
Know what is available now
My Lab currently lets members save useful pathways for later. It is not a clinical record, emergency service, or a promise of an active discussion forum.
This guide describes safe peer connection and links to external starting points. It does not announce an unbuilt C+CL group, event calendar, messaging system, or moderation service.
Choose the kind of connection you want
You might want someone who understands dressing difficulties, a way to discuss care questions, or practical ideas for managing a task. Listening without posting is participation too.
No one else's stage, body, routine, or result sets the standard for yours. Lipedema is heterogeneous, and lived experience is not a universal protocol.
Protect your boundaries
Decide what you will share before posting: symptoms in general terms, a practical question, or a resource request. Avoid posting insurance identifiers, private records, addresses, or photographs you would not want redistributed.
Read group rules, privacy expectations, and moderation policies. A closed group can still contain screenshots, sales messages, or inaccurate advice.
Keep peer ideas in the right role
A recommendation can give you a question to investigate, not a diagnosis or prescription. Check products, providers, diets, and techniques before spending money or changing care.
Leave or report spaces that use pressure, shaming, guarantees, or unsolicited treatment sales. A peer moderator is not automatically qualified to make clinical judgments.
Connect learning to your own pathway
Save a relevant guide in My Lab and keep a short note of the idea you want to discuss. Bring it to your health coach and nutritionist so the next step fits your priorities, resources, and capacity.
For acute symptoms or immediate safety concerns, contact appropriate medical or emergency services. Do not wait for a group response or treat social support as urgent clinical care.
